“Livability” is more than just a buzzword to us —

It’s the cornerstone of every Bellwether project. We get to know our clients and work together to build spaces that reflect how you really want to live. In that spirit, here’s a little bit more about us.

MEET THE TEAM

ANDY SHEALY

CO-OWNER

  • As a licensed builder with a keen eye for design, bellwether founder and co-owner Andy Shealy has a well-organized, sensible approach to construction management. While attending the University of Georgia in Athens, Andy was introduced to two lifelong loves: His wife, Julia, and the many beautifully crafted Victorian homes and craftsman bungalows surrounding the school’s campus. When the couple moved to Atlanta, Andy personally renovated their first home. In 2004, Andy and his family moved to Charleston, where he launched his career in the construction field and earned a master’s desgree in Project Management from the Citadel. Over the past 15 years, Andy renovated and built high-end homes throughout the Charleston area while working for Classic Remodeling and Structures Building Company. He and Julia live with their sons in Mount Pleasant’s Old Village.

KIM WILLIAMS

CO-OWNER

  • Kim Williams, co-owner, brings years of expertise in organizational and budget management to Bellwether. Kim’s interest in construction started early — as a kid growing up in Florida Panhandle, she went from building with Legos and Lincoln Logs to taking apart household items like vacuums and VCRs then putting them back together again to learn how they worked. After graduating from the School of Architecture at Auburn University in Alabama and moving to Charleston, she began a 15-year career at Classic Remodeling. She started as a designer, guiding numerous clients through their renovations from initial concept to final project, and later became General Manager, overseeing all aspects of the company’s operations. Kim lives in Charleston’s Byrnes Down neighborhood with her husband, Greg, and their Springer Spaniel, Frankie.

PARKER HARDAWAY

PROJECT MANAGER

  • Parker Hardaway comes to us with years of experience in the Charleston design scene. She too, like Kim, had an interest in design at a young age, staring at the front of houses her parents drove by everyday figuring out on her own how to draw the front elevation. She moved to Charleston shortly after graduating the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a degree in Interior Architecture and Design. After working for a design build company and interior design firm it was clear her heart was set on working for a company where clients were the priority and quality is not sacrificed. Her keen sense for details is unmatched which is instrumental for ensuring every design aspect is accounted for during each phase of a project.

Parker is newly married to Justin. They live in West Ashley with their dog, Dillon.

MARK HENRY

MASTER CRAFTSMAN

  • Mark grew up working in the family business at his mom’s shop and on the farm. After graduating from St. George High School, he worked with his uncle in all phases of construction, which is when his love for construction started. After about a year, Mark joined the United States Air Force where he served for seven years before receiving Honorable Discharge and going back to work in the family business. After a while, Mark wanted to get back into construction and became a Project Craftsman at Classic Remodeling for about ten years, before moving to Massachusetts. During his eleven years in Massachusetts, Mark started his own business, which he named Henry’s Home Improvements. Mark moved back to Charleston in 2021 with his wife of eleven years, Linda, and began working for Bellwether shortly after that. Mark has two daughters, Lauren and Georgia, and enjoys spending time with his family and his dog, Milo.

MARC HINEN

MASTER CRAFTSMAN

  • Marc grew up in Northern Indiana building “forts” and BMX jumps in the woods with his friends. Since then, he’s earned a degree in recreation therapy from Indiana University.

Marc moved to Charleston in 2004 and quickly fell in love with the historic woodwork. After cutting his teeth with an established remodeling company for 8 years he decided to become a licensed contractor.

Marc spent 10 years as a remodeling contractor focusing on bathrooms, kitchens, outdoor spaces, and a wide range of other woodworking projects. Marc enjoys his weekends skateboarding and surfing with his sons.
